This interior is truly something else! It feels like the Germans slowly and painfully making a Mini more “British” by adding fugly. Here’s the link

Here’s another odd one. I did not know this even existed. Unlike the IS300 Sportback, this does not pull it off.

With some paint, t his is could be one of the best Celicas around of that vintage. That interior though! How could you possibly justify selling this at that price with so work done on it?

Did you see the Cayenne GTS 6 sp manual that sold on BaT last week for $30k? Absolutely beautiful.

Seems to be around the going rate for one of those things in clean condition. Sounds like an amazing price for something that is crazy special…but of course you’re going to need deep pockets to keep it on the road.

This Cayenne is not in beautiful condition though. I feel like these will suddenly skyrocket in value in a few years when everyone remembers how raw they were.

I like the Storm as a fun little project. But, parts for them are getting really difficult to find.

I had a Storm about 10 years back.  Parts were tough to find then, so I’m sure they are worse now.  That doesn’t change the fact that I’d really like to have another one.  It was fun.

Umm what is stodgy about a red RWD manual supercharged hatchback?

Part sarcasm, part joke at the expense of its looks (just a little polarizing)

I think that C30 has the funkiest looking hatch I've seen in a long time. I assume only the glass lifts?

I really wanted to get an Isuzu Impulse RS for a while, but they suffer from the same parts availability issues (must be a common Isuzu thing) . There are so many parts that just straight-up aren’t available anymore, aftermarket or otherwise, which can result in a single failure taking the car off the road permanently. It makes me sad.

Fun fact: Around 2010 or 2011 my dad was actually looking at a Lancer Sportback Ralliart as a potential second family hauler to replace the V10 F250 tow rig we had at the time (and also to reduce the miles that were going onto his 2003 Impreza 2.5RS). No manual and a lack of trunk space mea nt we ended up buying a 5 speed Legacy 2.5GT wagon instead.

This one has a manual. He probably dodged a bullet by diving into an air mattress with that decision.

Ralliart was flappy paddle only. The Legacy was a great car and I wish we still had it. The 5 speed in the Legacy wagon died for 2006 so 4th gen 5 speed turbo wagons are quite hard to find now.

The Lancer hatch only looked good as a Ralliart.

I forgot the Kompressor came with a manual transmission.

I want to like the Geo, but I really prefer the Isuzu version.

In Europe, you’ll have a hard time finding a Lancer sedan. The few that sold were hatchbacks. Subaru pulled it off, Mitsubishi didn’t

Its the exact opposite in America. People have a mystifying aversion to hatchbacks. Ironically, people like the cargo space of SUVs  when a hatchback or wagon would have less incursion by the wheel wells

Go away with your facts, the SUV is bigger, therefore it must have better cargo space!

One and Only has some of the best-priced used cars in the area. Granted, a lot of their inventory is suspicious vehicles regardless of dealership, but they have crazy values on newer, basic cars.
